Colton Methodist Church - 17th October 2026

We had a fantastic afternoon at Colton Methodist Church on Saturday! It was lovely to share our History of Musicals and Last Night of the Proms programme with such an enthusiastic audience, and for our encore, Cheek to Cheek, people were even dancing in the aisles!

​

A huge thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome and wonderful hospitality. And of course, special thanks for the excellent cakes, which are always a highlight!

St Helen's Church - 27th September 2026

Last night we had the great pleasure of performing our Musicals and Last Night of the Proms concert.

​

A huge thank you to St Helen's Church for giving us such a warm welcome, and to our wonderful audience for their fantastic response throughout the evening. We were delighted to be joined by Claire Helm, whose performance added so much to the concert, and it was a real pleasure to work with her once again!

From the West End to the Proms!

​

Join us for a spectacular evening celebrating the history of musical theatre, with music from some of the world's most beloved musicals. The concert concludes with a stirring selection of Last Night of the Proms favourites.

​

We are delighted to welcome back acclaimed soprano Claire Helm as our guest soloist.

​

Admission is on a Pay What You Want basis, so bring your friends and family along for a wonderful evening of entertainment and community music-making.

Canal Gardens - 12th July 2026

​

We had the pleasure of performing in the beautiful Canal Gardens at Roundhay Park on Sunday.

 

Despite the heat and blazing sunshine, we found a welcome patch of shade and played our hearts out. Our programme featured music from Jesus Christ Superstar, First Suite in Eb, You Can’t Stop the Beat, MacArthur Park, and of course our signature tune, Yorkshire Pudding.

 

The audience was fantastic — thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported us.

Springhead Park, Rothwell - 7th June 2026

​

We played at Springhead Park yesterday, battling strong winds, a dark sky and the odd spot of rain. Keeping music (and hair) under control was a challenge, but we still completed our full programme. We opened each half in traditional style with a march and an overture, followed by film music, musical theatre favourites and a couple of pop tunes.

Huge thanks to everyone who braved the weather to listen.

Sunday 10th May - Nostell Priory

A sunny (but chilly!) Sunday at Nostell Priory made the perfect setting for VE Day commemorations. Our specially chosen music and narration, helped paint a vivid picture of the events being remembered — and it was lovely to see so many people there.

We are delighted to have been invited to perform at Nostell Priory.

We will be commemorating VE Day through music and words. 

​You will find us in the Courtyard unless it rains, in which case we will be in the Riding School.

🎺 Recruiting: Tuba or Bass Guitar Player for Our Wind Band! 🎸

Our friendly community wind band is looking for either a tuba player or bass guitar player to join our group. If you are Grade 6 standard or above we would love to hear from you.
